The CRU has today, 11 June 2021 published a Consultation Paper on the 2021 Review of the Electricity and Gas Suppliers’ Handbook. The Suppliers’ Handbook sets out the minimum levels of service that licensed energy suppliers are required to adhere to in their interactions with energy customers, such as, marketing and advertising, billing and disconnections.
This review focuses on changes related to the Clean Energy Package, incorporating CRU general clarifications and addressing issues identified by CRU spot checks and audits. The CRU welcomes stakeholder feedback on the proposed new requirements and editorial changes set out in this consultation by close of business on 23 July 2021. The CRU will publish a Decision Paper based on the responses received.
