National Energy Demand Strategy Online Stakeholder Workshop Slides
The CRU held an online stakeholder workshop for the National Energy Demand Strategy on the 31st January 2024.
A previous public notice announcing the NEDS workshop was published on the 17th January, which can be viewed here. The objective of this workshop was to provide any clarifications to enable stakeholders to submit informed responses to the NEDS Consultation Paper CRU2023148, published 21st December 2023. The deadline for the receipt of submissions to the paper is Friday, 16th February 2024.
At the workshop, the CRU presented a summary of the proposed approach and measures included in the NEDS, while also providing stakeholders with an opportunity to ask questions and obtain clarifications on topics of specific interest. The workshop slides can be viewed here.
As noted during the workshop, there will be a number of additional upcoming events taking place in relation to the NEDS, including:
- ESB Networks (ESBN) Demand Flexibility Product Proposal Consultation Webinar on Thursday, 8th February. To register for this Webinar please email flexibility@cru.ie to register your interest by 17:00 on Tuesday 6th February 2024.
- Review of LEU Connection Policy Consultation Online Workshop - the CRU intends to hold an online dedicated workshop on 29th February (TBC). A public notice will be published to confirm the date and details in due course.
